Harbour Museum
This museum is housed in a former Londonderry Port & Harbour Commissioner's offices built in 1882. It is designed as a traditional style museum dealing mainly with the city's maritime heritage.It also contains a range of miscellaneous artefacts.
Historic Walls of Derry
A walk around the walls in Londonderry reveals a splendid city crammed full of history, heritage, interest and a vibrant cultural scene.The Walls, which are approximately 1.5km in circumference, form a walkway around the inner city and provide a unique promenade to view the layout of the original town which still preserves its Renaissance Style street plan to this day.
Peace Bridge
The recently opened Peace Bridge (June 2011), is a new walk and cycle bridge across the River Foyle, and is the city’s third river crossing. Costing over £14m to build, the bridge is designed for pedestrians and cyclists, and crosses the river from the Cityside to Waterside.
Saint Columb's Cathedral
Dominating the skyline on all approaches to the city of Londonderry is Saint Columb's Cathedral, which has stood on its prominent site inside the famous walls of Derry since 1633. Dedicated to the name of Saint Columba (Columb)
The Bogside People's Gallery of Murals
The Bogside Artists have created an open-air mural gallery in the famous Bogside area of the city.
Tower Museum
The Tower Museum houses two permanent exhibitions The Story of Derry and An Armada Shipwreck - La Trinidad Valencera as well as other temporary exhibitions. The top of the Museum provides an open air viewing facility in the heart of the city centre.
