The City of Derry Jazz & Big Band Festival is just around the corner, and Foyleside Shopping Centre is one of the best places to soak up the atmosphere.

Taking place over the May bank holiday weekend, musicians and revellers from all over the world will flock to Derry in one glorious celebration of jazz.

From top-class jazz acts to workshops, we have a bumper schedule lined up at the centre’s Food Quarter on Level 3 to keep our shoppers entertained throughout the festival.

Jazz Gazette with Joan Talbot kicks things off on Thursday, 27th April, with Ricky Cool & The In Crowd and Calgach Singers performing the following day.

Saturday’s action starts at 1 pm with the Café Jazz Project, followed by The Roaring Forties at 3 pm.

Our free dance workshop takes place on Sunday and features professional dancers before the iconic Jive Aces take to the stage.
The Revolutionaires will be on hand to bring the festivities to a close on Monday at 2 pm.
