The priority for all of us at Foyleside is for our shoppers to have a safe and enjoyable experience whilst visiting the centre.
With that in mind, we have introduced a number of safety measures within the centre. The health and safety of our customers and staff is of the utmost importance, and our goal is to ensure that everyone in Foyleside can shop or work while feeling safe.
Please respect our cleaning staff as enhanced cleaning regimes are implemented. We are continuing to work hard to ensure Foyleside is kept as clean and safe as possible.
However, we can’t do it alone. We need shoppers to play their part by adhering to government guidelines, which in turn will help limit the spread of COVID-19.
Additionally, please do not visit the centre if you are feeling unwell.
Please take note of the below measures implemented by Foyleside:
Mandatory face coverings
In line with current government guidelines, it is mandatory to wear a face covering upon entry to the centre and in all stores and communal areas throughout.
However, we do appreciate that there are reasons for exemption. Those with medical conditions and disabilities will be exempted along with children under the age of 13.
If you have forgotten your face covering, there are vending machines at most entrances with coverings available for purchase.
It is absolutely essential that everyone adheres to social distancing measures at all times. A range of measures have been taken within the centre to encourage people to stay 2m apart from others.
Floor graphics and marked routes have been implemented to help do this, while people are asked to partake in a one-way system by keeping to the left. Signs around the centre make it clear which directions to walk, and where you can cross over.
Hand sanitisation points are in place at various locations around the centre, while individual stores have installed them at their shop entrances. It is important to use these when entering Foyleside, individual stores and areas where food and drink are served. Additionally, our toilet facilities have soap and hot water.
All stores will be operating with restricted capacities, so queuing to enter some or all stores within the centre is a possibility. In this case, please follow the direction of store staff, and remember to maintain social distancing while queueing.
Check out our Reopening FAQs page for more information regarding your visit. Our staff will be on hand to offer help and answer any questions you may have.

Finally, we wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding during this difficult time. We also applaud the incredible staff from Foyleside and our stores for their hard work and dedication now and in the future.
