The highly anticipated arrival of Santa Claus at Foyleside Shopping Centre has taken place, signalling the beginning of the festive season at the North West’s premier shopping destination.
To mark the occasion, the centre transformed into a Winter Wonderland full of Christmas treats and stocking fillers for all. Families joined the Christmas celebrations in welcoming Ol’ St. Nick as he arrived in style from Lapland to spread some festive joy and holiday spirit to all Foyleside shoppers.
A delightful array of kids’ activities took place with children of all ages immersing themselves in the holiday atmosphere, with fabulous face painting, brilliant balloon modelling, and a variety of Christmas characters instore. There was also a Christmas Craft Station, Cupcake Decoration Station, and Reindeer Food Bar, allowing all the younger shoppers the opportunity to unleash their creativity by creating unique decorations, trying their hand at cupcake decorating, and creating magical reindeer treats to sprinkle outside on Christmas Eve for Rudolph and the gang.
If that wasn’t enough, a special mystery guest turned up on the day to join Santa for the festivities. This guest was a mean one, with a smile most unpleasant, yes, The Grinch arrived trying to steal every present. Luckily, he didn’t get away with anything…. this time. The Grinch will be making another appearance at Whoville in Foyleside Shopping Centre on Saturday 16th December from 12.30pm – 2pm, so all the boys and girls best watch out.
Ahead of Christmas Day, even more holly jolly activities will be coming to the centre with further festive events planned on the weekends on Saturday 2nd, 9th and 16th of December.
