That’s right, the North West’s premier shopping destination will once again roll out the red carpet for the man in the big red suit this Christmas.

Santa is scheduled to stay with us throughout the festive period in his beautifully decorated Grotto, and he’s excited to find out what all the boys and girls would like to find under their Christmas trees this year.

He’s an extremely busy man at this time of year, so his diligent elves have informed us that early booking for Santa’s Grotto is advised. 

This Christmas to welcome Santa, the team at Foyleside have arranged a number of magical experiences that will be taking place around the centre, including gingerbread man decorating, reindeer candy cane making and many more.

Foyleside Shopping Centre is the perfect destination to help you get into the festive mood this Christmas.

How can I book my experience at Santa’s Grotto?

You can book your Santa’s Grotto experience by clicking here. 

A £5 booking fee is applicable to secure your slot. A gift will be included for each child. The booking fee will be deducted from any purchases made at the Grotto, such as photography. 

Simply select your preferred timeslot, and please ensure to arrive in adequate time.

What can I expect from my Grotto experience?

Please note that Santa’s Grotto at Foyleside Shopping Centre is non-contact, to help ensure that everyone remains safe whilst enjoying the festive experience.

Santa will be behind a safety screen, but he will still be able to speak and interact with the children in the traditional way.

What time should I arrive?

Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your booking time. Areas need to be sanitised between bookings and we cannot allow the waiting areas to become congested. Should you arrive early, please take a look around the Centre and our festive displays.

COVID-19 Terms of visit

By making a booking online, the visitor certifies that they are aware of and accept the following Terms & Conditions regarding COVID-19.

  1. The visitor accepts responsibility of risks related to COVID-19 whilst visiting Santa’s Grotto.
  2. The visitor agrees that no one in their party has recently shown symptoms of COVID-19.
  3. The visitor understands and accepts that management and staff reserve the right to refuse admission to any person showing signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
  4. The visitor understands that there are reduced entrances and exits and they may be required to wait before entering the Grotto.
  5. The visitor agrees that they are responsible for adequate hand sanitisation and respiratory hygiene, which is encouraged at all times.
  6. The visitor agrees to wear a facial covering in all required areas.
  7. The visitor understands that if appointments are cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, Foyleside will not be responsible for rebooking or any disappointment that this may cause.
  8. The visitor understands that multiple bookings for the same household are not allowed.
