At Foyleside, accessibility matters. We’re proud to introduce the exclusive Foyleside Mobility Scheme – a brand new service, designed with your comfort in mind. Featuring state-of-the-art mobility scooters, our scheme is tailored to help every visitor move freely and confidently throughout the shopping centre.

Whether you’re shopping, dining, or simply enjoying a day out, our scooters are here to support you every step of the way.

How It Works

  • Our mobility scooters are available free of charge for use within Foyleside Shopping Centre.
  • Wheelchairs will also be available soon – we are currently awaiting delivery.
  • Equipment is only for use within Foyleside.*

Using the Scheme

  • First-time users must register and complete a short induction. Please allow up to 30 minutes for this process.
  • A valid photo ID and completed membership form are required at sign-up. ID will remain at the desk whilst the scooter is on loan.
  • You cannot pre-book at this time, but you’re welcome to call ahead to check availability.
  • All users will receive basic training to ensure confidence and safety in using the equipment.

Terms & Conditions

By signing up to use the Foyleside Mobility Scheme, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • You are responsible for the safe use of the mobility equipment.
  • You have completed the required induction and training and understand all associated risks.
  • You accept that Foyleside Shopping Centre and its operators are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from your use of the equipment.
  • You are fully liable for any damage to the scooter or wheelchair while in your possession, whether accidental or otherwise.
  • You agree to cover the full cost of repair or replacement if necessary.
  • Equipment is used entirely at your own risk.
